A legacy of strength. A message of hope. A movement for change.

This collection was born from heartbreak—but also from deep love and a drive to do more. In 2024, we lost a remarkable young woman who had been part of our mentoring program. Her life was filled with connection, strength, and promise—but tragically, she died by suicide.

Her passing shook us all. In the weeks that followed, we kept asking: What more can we do?

The Tiwi Edition is our response.

This collection honours her legacy by creating something that lives beyond words—a message people can wear, carry, and pass on. It’s about sharing practical tools that may help someone pause, reflect, and shift perspective during difficult times.

Out of deep respect and cultural protocol, her name will not be shared publicly during 2025. But her spirit is present in every garment, every story, and every step forward this initiative supports.

More Than Apparel—This Collection is a Mindset Tool

In collaboration with Nerdu Badji Education, every piece in the Tiwi Edition is made to empower, heal, and uplift. Inspired by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander mentors from the Tiwi Islands, the collection supports suicide prevention, emotional wellbeing, and community resilience in regional and rural areas.

Our garments incorporate two core mindset tools used in mentoring programs:

1. The VET Process

Validate. Explore. Transform.

This 3-step framework helps people process emotions and navigate difficult moments. It’s designed to be simple, practical, and powerful:

  • Validate your emotions and accept them for what they are.

  • Explore where the emotion came from and why it matters.

  • Transform the emotion by turning insight into action or healing.

The VET Process pieces are printed with this message—on tees and hoodies—serving as quiet yet powerful reminders of emotional strength.

2. Optimism vs Pessimism Model

This design breaks down the shift from a pessimistic mindset (Permanent, Pervasive, Powerless) to a more optimistic one (Temporary, Isolated, Effort Possible).

The graphic invites reflection and conversation, helping people see that change is possible—even when things feel stuck.

Where Your Purchase Goes

Every item in this collection directly supports suicide prevention programs in remote and regional Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Proceeds go towards:

  • Training and supporting local mentors

  • Delivering mindset tools and resources to communities

  • Expanding culturally grounded mental health education

  • Reducing suicide rates through early intervention and community-led leadership

This is more than a product. It’s a movement for change—rooted in story, backed by tools, and driven by the people who need it most.

Thank you for wearing this message and helping carry it forward.
