Melbourne United – Indigenous Round Jersey: “Narrm Bundima – Doormala”

Tiffany designed the Indigenous Round uniform for Melbourne United’s NBL24 season with her artwork titled “Narrm Bundima – Doormala”. This piece illustrates the heart and history of Melbourne’s basketball culture within a deeper connection to Narrative (Narrm) and Country. The design includes a center circle symbolizing purpose, a boomerang for cultural navigation, a kangaroo motif for forward momentum, six circles representing past NBL titles, a snake for strength and resilience, and spears to embody strategic tools in sport and life.

Melbourne United – Multicultural Game & Festival

Tiffany also collaborated with Melbourne United’s “United in Culture” initiative, contributing visual artworks and storytelling to their Multicultural Game and Festival. These events celebrate diversity, promote cultural connection through basketball, and feature custom jerseys and interactive community art experiences.

It features six pillars representing the team’s core values — Competitive, Fundamentally Skilled, Physically Prepared, Shooting Ability, Adaptability, Enthusiasm — surrounded by vibrant dots, emu prints, boomerangs, butterflies, and stars that convey community, heritage, transformation, aspiration, and resilience.

Knox Raiders – Indigenous Round Jersey (2024)

Tiffany Hunter Studio partnered with Knox Basketball to create a powerful jersey design for Indigenous Round, representing the 7 Stages of Aboriginal History: Dreaming, Invasion, Genocide, Protection, Assimilation, Self-Determination, and Reconciliation. The artwork also incorporates two boomerangs to symbolise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, and two stars to represent hope for a future built on unity and reconciliation. Spears within the design acknowledge traditional hunting tools used for thousands of years, honouring cultural strength and resilience carried forward through generations.
