About Me
“We carry the power to shift the story of this Nation. By telling our truths and creating new narratives, we plant seeds of reconciliation, strength, and unity that will grow for generations to come. Every story we tell has the power to heal or to harm. I choose to tell stories that heal, that plant seeds of courage, pride, and change in the hearts of the next generation.
Our generation is not just inheriting history, we are rewriting it. Through art, culture, and truth-telling, we plant seeds of hope, so tomorrow grows stronger than today.” – Tiffany Hunter
Tiffany Hunter is a proud Taungurung woman from East Victoria, an artist, keynote speaker, and creative leader whose work bridges art, culture, and community.
With more than 12 years of experience across the education and employment sector, Tiffany is the Director and Lead Counsellor at Nerdu Badji Education, where she empowers communities to build strength, resilience, and pathways for the next generations.
As a visual artist, Tiffany uses paint, colour, and storytelling to honour her culture and spark meaningful conversations. Her practice spans diverse platforms, from designing sporting jerseys for the NBL and local clubs, to delivering art workshops and RAP (Reconciliation Action Plan) activations for businesses, to working as an Artist in Residence within schools.
Her work also includes:
- Murals
- Interactive community projects,
- Creation of Cultural Safety e-learn modules.
- Keynote presentations with Organisations such as the Department of Transport and Planning.
Beyond the canvas, Tiffany has developed a line of merchandise and apparel that not only celebrates culture but also raises funds for mental health and wellbeing initiatives in regional and rural communities. This reflects her belief in art as both an expression of identity and a tool for healing, resilience, and change.
Tiffany's art is contemporary, bold, and deeply connected. Each piece is an invitation to engage in dialogue between past and present, acknowledging history while envisioning a brighter future.
At the heart of Tiffany’s work is a commitment to healing and unity: by acknowledging pain and trauma, she believes we can also come together with empathy, understanding, and strength to inspire hope for generations to come.
